Last night I had a "critter" visit my back porch. Unfortunately, he decided to SHRED the cushions on my patio furniture. There is nothing to eat on my patio, however we do sit out there for dinner sometimes. I looked for scat, but didn't find any. And, of course the rain washed away any chance of finding footprints.
Then I had a thought: although Raccoons aren't supposed to like tomatoes, mine were nibbled on all dang summer!
There are some ringtails living in the neighborhood storm drains down my street and we have an empty lot next door that hasn't been mowed all summer. Perhaps I am feeding the beasts?
Grrr! But would opossums do damage and eat tomatoes? What do yall think?
